About The Faculty

Lakshmi Kannan is an Assistant Professor in the area of Services Marketing, International Business and Managerial Economics at Ramaiah Institute of Management Bangalore. She has completed her MPhil in Economics from Madurai Kamaraj University, MBA in Marketing & Sales Management, IGNOU, and MA in Economics from Madras University.

She has industry experience of about 20 years, which includes 5 years in the exports domain and 15 years in ITES sector. Her passion to reduce the gap between college and corporate has driven her to switch to academics. She also has part time teaching (visiting faculty) experience of 10 years and full time teaching for 4 years.

Sustainability of Services, Healthcare services, Health insurance in India.
